We’ve created KUKA|prc with the goal of making industrial robots accessible to the creative industry.
As such, members of the Association for Robots in Architecture can use KUKA|prc for free for research and teaching – the yearly membership fee amounts to 350€. Membership extend to all staff and students so that KUKA|prc can also be installed on all private machines, not just in a lab.
KUKA|prc is also increasingly being used in industry at high-end wood fabrication companies, market leaders in the aeronautical industry, and even in nuclear reactors. For these applications, a commercial license is required.
As of October 20th 2018 we are proud to present a public preview of KUKA|prc for Autodesk Dynamo. To encourage testing, we are providing a full-featured license of KUKA|prc to everyone, with a license valid until March 31st, 2019. The current release is optimized for Dynamo Studio 2017 (Dynamo Core 1.3). Dynamo is available as a free evaluation software.
When testing the software, please expect problems and issues. We are kindly asking you to provide feedback through the Robots in Architecture Forum. You can download KUKA|prc for Dynamo projects from here.
Following the testing period, KUKA|prc for Dynamo will be made available as a free version with reduced functionality and a full version for all members, in parallel to the Grasshopper version at no extra cost.
